Puri by road is the classic pilgrimage-holiday: sunrise at Chandrabhaga, the Sun Temple, dolphins on Chilika, and Jagannath darshan at the centre of it all. Trains can't stitch these together; one car and one driver can. It's a multi-day round trip — plan 3 to 5 days.
